With its ultra-lightweight build, advanced HERO 25K sensor, and impressive battery life, it has quickly become a favorite among gaming enthusiasts. This review article will delve into various aspects of the mouse, providing a detailed analysis and rating across different categories.

Design and Build Quality

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT embodies a minimalist design philosophy that promotes functionality without any unnecessary embellishments. Available in black and white, its sleek appearance is complemented by a smooth matte finish. However, while the design is generally appealing, it’s important to note that the mouse may not suit everyone. For users with larger hands, the compact size may lead to discomfort during extended gaming sessions.

Rating: 4.0/5

Weight and Comfort

One of the standout features of the PRO X SUPERLIGHT is its ultra-lightweight construction, weighing in at just under 63 grams. This results in effortless maneuverability, making it suitable for rapid movements in fast-paced games. Many users have reported that the lightweight design feels natural, allowing for better control without fatigue. However, some larger-handed users may struggle to find a comfortable grip, as noted in several reviews.

Rating: 4.3/5

Performance

Sensor and Responsiveness

At the heart of the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is the HERO 25K sensor, which boasts a maximum DPI of 25,600. This sensor provides remarkable precision, speed, and consistency, which are crucial for competitive gaming. Many users have praised the wireless connectivity, reporting zero latency—an impressive feat for a wireless mouse in this price range.

Rating: 4.8/5

Programmable Buttons and Features

The mouse comes equipped with five programmable buttons, allowing users to customize their gaming experience. While many find this feature beneficial, some users have expressed a desire for additional buttons, particularly for complex game mechanics. Nevertheless, the existing buttons are responsive and reliable.

Battery Life

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT’s battery life is commendable, with an average usage time of around 70 hours on a single charge. Users have reported extended periods of gameplay without needing to recharge, which is a significant advantage for those who tend to game for long durations. Additionally, the ability to use the mouse while charging is a notable feature that enhances its practicality.

Rating: 4.7/5

User Experience

General Usability

From a usability perspective, the PRO X SUPERLIGHT excels in both gaming and productivity tasks. Users have noted that it performs well for day-to-day tasks like browsing and document editing, making it a versatile option for those who require a mouse for both work and play. The large, zero-additive PTFE feet provide a smooth glide, further enhancing the overall experience.

Rating: 4.6/5

Comparative Experience

When comparing the G PRO X SUPERLIGHT to other popular models like the Razer Viper Mini and MX Master series, the Logitech mouse holds its own. Final Thoughts and Overall Rating

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT Wireless Gaming Mouse is undoubtedly a high-performing device that caters to the needs of serious gamers. Its lightweight design, exceptional sensor performance, and long battery life make it an excellent choice for both competitive gaming and everyday use. However, potential buyers should consider their hand size and grip preference, as the mouse may not suit everyone.

10 reviews for Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT: The Ultimate Ultra-Lightweight Gaming Mouse

  1. Rated 5 out of 5

I’ve been using this mouse extensively for nearly a year while gaming, and it performs just as well as it did when I first got it. It’s incredibly precise, lightweight, and I haven’t experienced any issues with scrolling or the buttons. The battery life is impressive, lasting several weeks without needing to be turned off or charged. Plus, if the battery does run low, you can simply plug it in and continue using it while it charges—such a convenient feature! It also supports drag-clicking if that’s something you’re interested in. The design looks fantastic as well. Overall, I have no complaints and feel it’s definitely worth the investment.

The lightweight design allows for easy mobility, and it feels incredibly natural during intense gaming sessions. The wireless connection is seamless, with absolutely no lag, and the precision is exceptional for both gaming and daily tasks. The battery life is impressive, requiring a charge only every few days with regular use. If you want a premium mouse that’s feather-light and performs perfectly, look no further! I highly recommend it!

Its only downside is that it’s expensive.

This is my first experience with a “true” gaming mouse, as opposed to the cheap $20-30 options or high-end productivity mice. My go-to for my gaming PC and workstation has been the Logitech MX Master 2S, which, although rechargeable, feels like it weighs five times more than the Superlight. In reality, it’s about twice as heavy at 145g compared to the Superlight’s 63g, but that 80g difference is very noticeable.

The MX Master series, when new, is priced similarly to the G Pro X Superlight, which I purchased for around $92 on sale last week. I’ve only used the G Pro for a few days, but the daily user experience is quite comparable to the Master for general tasks. However, I do a lot of CAD work and rely heavily on the middle mouse button, which doesn’t have the satisfying click I’m accustomed to. The G Pro X also lacks a sideways scroll wheel, something I rarely used, and it doesn’t have a configurable button behind the scroll wheel that I use as a DPI switch on the Master, which can be useful at times. I’ve mapped the forward button on the G Pro to function as a DPI switch, allowing for up to five options, whereas the Master only offers two, which is a nice feature.

I appreciate that you can set application-specific bindings for the buttons, though realistically, I only change the middle click and the forward/back buttons. Overall, this is a fantastic mouse. I considered deducting a star for its use of Micro USB instead of USB-C, which feels disappointing for a ~$100 mouse. However, I understand that this mouse was released around four years ago, so USB-C may not have been as common back then.

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is a fantastic gaming mouse, but it doesn’t quite suit my needs. Here’s my take:

Performance: The HERO 25K sensor delivers exceptional accuracy, and the mouse feels very responsive during gameplay. The wireless connection is seamless with no noticeable lag.

Build Quality: It’s well-constructed and extremely lightweight, making it easy to handle during long gaming sessions.

Design: While the minimalist aesthetic and five programmable buttons are appealing, the mouse is too small for my larger hands. As someone with a taller build and bigger hands, I found it challenging to maintain a comfortable grip, especially during extended use.

Preference: I personally favor the G502X, which offers a more ergonomic design and a larger size that aligns better with my hand.

Overall: The G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is an excellent choice for those with average or smaller hands. It’s quick, lightweight, and performance-oriented, but it simply wasn’t the ideal match for me. If you have larger hands, you might want to explore options like the G502X.

Incredibly lightweight, just as advertised! This mouse is fantastic—feels great in hand and the wireless latency is impressive. I honestly can’t tell the difference from my previous wired mouse (Razer Viper Mini). Overall, it’s a fantastic choice, and if you find it on sale, I highly recommend grabbing it! Perfect for both productivity and gaming. The battery life has been solid, and I have no complaints! Well done, Logitech!

The Logitech G X Pro Superlight stands out significantly compared to the Glorious Model O. The Logitech offers a much more relaxed experience.

The mouse is excellent in every way for those with medium to small hands, and it works well with all types of grips—no flaws at all. The only issue I have is that the buttons require more pressure than I’m used to, so they feel a bit stiff.
