Skin-Fit Coverage with a Satin Glow
What sets this cushion foundation apart is its ability to deliver medium to full coverage while maintaining a natural and radiant appearance. The formula is lightweight, resembling the feel of water on the skin. This means that you can achieve a flawless complexion without the heavy feeling that traditional foundations often bring. The satin glow finish ensures that your skin looks healthy and vibrant throughout the day.
Long-Lasting Wear
Another incredible feature of the TIRTIR Mask Fit Red Cushion Foundation is its impressive 72-hour longevity. This foundation is designed to withstand the rigors of daily life, offering enduring wear without the need for frequent touch-ups. Beauty lovers will appreciate the fact that a little goes a long way, making it a cost-effective choice for those who require reliable coverage.
Nourishing Ingredients
Not only does this foundation provide aesthetic benefits, but it also nourishes the skin. Infused with hibiscus and red propolis extracts, the formula enhances skin elasticity while giving you that coveted glass skin look. I bought two shades with similar tones (22N, 24N) to test out. They are easy to apply and offer medium coverage. I gave it 4 stars because it dries a bit darker than when first applied, which I expected. It also dries quickly on the skin, so be mindful while applying. The colors matched the description perfectly and provided a smooth finish. It lasted for several hours without any problems.

I genuinely love this product. The innovative packaging, product quality, consistency, coverage, and finish are all exceptional. It lasts wonderfully, remaining intact on my skin without budging. After a 12-hour day, I only needed a light touch-up with setting powder. It provided a flawless finish, blended seamlessly with my skincare and makeup, and when set with the right powder, it achieved the soft-focus effect I was looking for. Excellent product at a great price—definitely worth a try! For reference, I ordered the 22N shade as I have fair skin with yellow undertones, and I also got the 21N for when my fake tan fades.

I really liked the product, and the packaging was exactly as described. I believe the shade suited me well. The coverage felt good, but unfortunately, it may not be right for me. I think an ingredient may have caused an allergic reaction because I developed some breakouts and experienced a lot of itching. However, it could work well for someone else.

I liked the foundation, but you can find the standard size from another seller at the same or better price. It feels like a scam considering the amount in this package, which will last you only about 6-8 uses. Look for another seller. It’s obviously my mistake for not noticing this initially, so I’m sharing my opinion.

It’s not my shade, but I liked it.

TL;DR: Marketed as a buildable coverage foundation, this product fits my minimalist makeup routine perfectly with a light application. It applies smoothly and, after settling, leaves my skin looking naturally radiant rather than made-up. Shade matching involves some trial and error, especially in summer when your skin tone may change.
I’ve never been a fan of makeup, likely because I watched my mother take hours every morning to apply hers, and I vowed not to waste my mornings like that. Fast forward 30 years, and while I still prefer going without makeup, dark spots and acne scars have prompted me to explore a lighter makeup option. Plus, I’ve learned how important sunscreen is for preventing further aging, so my makeup journey in my late 40s began with finding the right tinted mineral sunscreen.
For those who find this foundation too heavy or cakey, I beg to differ. You can achieve a light finish if you don’t press too hard on the puff when dipping into the cushion. I gently dab into the product, and if I’ve picked up too much, I pat it off on the inside of the cushion cover. If it feels wet on my skin, I know I’ve over-applied. I can even out redness and conceal blemishes without the heaviness of traditional makeup. As someone with oily/combination skin, I apply a light dusting of either Morphe Soft Focus translucent setting powder or Hourglass Vanish pressed powder in translucent tan. If it appears too matte or it’s a hot day, I use TirTir’s Mask Fit Makeup Cool Fixer for a refreshing finish. Initially, the cushion foundation may look “flat,” but after a while, it transforms into a glowy, healthy complexion.
For those deducting stars due to color matching, remember that buying makeup online comes with limitations; no screen can accurately portray makeup shades. Unless you can test in person, expect some trial and error. I’ve tried six shades (plus two sample packs); the first two were mismatched, while the others changed due to my summer tan. My medium to tan skin with warm undertones has gone through the following shades:
I anticipate needing lighter shades as summer fades into fall.
Initially, I was attracted to these red cushion foundations for their advertised SPF 40 and the convenience of application without messy hands. However, the US packaging doesn’t list SPF, so I treat it like it has none. My prep includes TirTir’s Milk Skin Toner Light (which I love), followed by vitamin C serum, Baebody eye gel, and cream. Depending on my outdoor plans, I layer my moisturizer before the foundation accordingly. For extended outdoor time, I use the Mask Fit (Blue) Cool Sun Cushion SPF 50+, which provides sun protection without the mess.
With some experimentation for shade and coverage, this TirTir red cushion foundation is fantastic. I highly recommend trying out the sample packs or mini compacts to find your shade, as well as TirTir’s Milk Skin Toner Light, Mask Fit Makeup Cool Fixer, and Mask Fit Cool Sun Cushion (Amazon, please start carrying these two products!).

This foundation is excellent; it feels very lightweight on the skin and lasts well. Honestly, I really liked it. I wish they had more shades available. I purchased the 34 W Toffee, and I think a darker shade would have suited me better, but the foundation still looks beautiful.

I am absolutely thrilled with this foundation! It’s incredibly refreshing to finally discover an affordable option that matches my skin tone perfectly. As a woman of a certain age, I remember when my only choices for makeup were limited to a department store line designed exclusively for Black women (long before Fenty) or settling for odd-looking drugstore shades. Who would have thought a South Korean makeup brand would finally get it right after all these years?
I bought shades 40N and 43N, which were the two darkest options available at the time. I chose 43N because a YouTube influencer I follow, MissDarcei, uses it and is my exact match in both summer and winter. Given that the foundation oxidizes a shade darker, I started with 40N, which turned out to be perfect for my winter skin.
There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube for the best application techniques, with Robert Welsh being a great starting point. In terms of wear, I’ve tested this foundation on bare skin, both with and without primer, and it maintained its look throughout the day. I wore it for up to 12-15 hours, and while I did start to look a bit dewy in my T-zone around the 10-hour mark, a quick dab of powder fixed it right up. The foundation never separated, didn’t look cakey, and didn’t settle into any fine lines. It blended well with my concealer too.
IMPORTANT TIPS TO REMEMBER:
I experienced no breakouts or flaky skin while using this foundation. Those having issues might need to reassess their skin prep. While some may have allergies to the product, I believe many complaints arise from incorrect application techniques.
TL;DR – I absolutely love this foundation; I would rate it a 10 out of 10.
UPDATE ON 8/27/2024:
While I still like this foundation, I did recently try the updated shade 45W Chestnut, and it didn’t work for me. I ordered it anticipating a warm shade for summer, but it turned out to be way too red. When it oxidized, my face ended up a couple of shades darker than my ears, despite using my preferred application methods.
Do I still appreciate the product? Definitely! I enjoy the coverage, wear, and feel. However, I urge Tir-Tir to create both warm and cool shades in deeper tones. People of color have diverse undertones, and not all dark-skinned individuals have red undertones. I appreciate their responsiveness to our requests thus far, but there’s still room for improvement in the shade range. Keep pushing forward—Fighting!

I was somewhat disappointed. I saw on social media that this foundation worked well for mature skin, but that’s not the case at all. It takes a lot of product to achieve even medium coverage, and it runs out quickly since there’s not much in the bottle. I don’t recommend it for mature skin; it’s a waste of money.
