I wore nearly everything I packed at least twice and didn’t do any laundry. Nothing got dirty or smelly, but I’m glad we didn’t extend our stay!
The zippers glide smoothly and lock securely at the top. My fully packed suitcase weighed just a bit over 23 pounds. I included one change of clothes and pajamas in my personal bag, but the suitcase was my main storage solution. The wheels rolled beautifully over rough cobblestone streets, and the handle felt sturdy. The front flap pocket is handy for those traveling with a laptop, although I mainly used it for paperwork, as filling it limits the interior packing space.
My only concern (not a fault of the suitcase) occurred on the last day of the trip when I loaded my suitcase with my personal bag attached to the trolley handle onto a bus. The chaotic ride caused the bags to tip over, and someone inadvertently bent the suitcase handle while trying to lift both bags. While there’s no visible damage, I couldn’t lower the handle back into the suitcase afterward.
After some adjustments to the internal mechanism located inside the zipper area at the bottom, I managed to lower it back down, though it still won’t go the final inch and a half. I’m currently reaching out to Level 8 to see what options are available.
