      MARK DELMONACO

You know how microwaves can heat up leftovers or frozen meals but leave them soggy, and toaster ovens take too long and sometimes brown the food too much? The Cosari Air Fryer perfectly bridges that gap. I’ve been using my son’s for years while babysitting, and I bought this one mainly for our camper (glamper), but it’s definitely going to stay in the house during the off-season.

      Key benefits:

      • Cooks or reheats quickly without making food soggy.
      • Cleanup is a breeze. Most of the time, it stays pretty clean, and you only need to do a deep clean once a week. Even if it collects melted cheese or grease, just let it cool, give it a quick wash and rinse (nothing sticks), and allow it to air dry or towel dry.
      • The cooking bucket is incredibly convenient compared to other multi-purpose appliances. The Cosari has a compact countertop footprint and meets about 80% of typical family cooking needs, making it better than a toaster oven. For instance, any frozen bagged food, nuggets, fries, or patties cook perfectly with a quick 5-minute warm-up at 400°.
      • There’s a very low risk of little ones burning themselves because once you place the cooking bucket back, all the hot parts are contained.
      • I trust the Cosari brand for its durability and functionality. Just measure what you typically cook and choose the version with a large enough cooking bucket. If you often reheat large items like pizza, go for a bigger bucket; if it’s just nuggets or chicken fingers, a smaller one will do.

I think you’ll be really happy with it.

      Yin & Yang

This air fryer is user-friendly, easy to clean, and cooks quickly. It’s also quiet and has a pleasant alert sound when cooking is done. I’ve been using it every few days for the past two weeks, and I’m really impressed. It cooks my seasoned chicken wings to a perfect crisp, and they taste fantastic.

The 6-quart capacity is quite spacious, providing a large cooking area, and you can purchase racks for multiple layers of food. However, it does take up a bit of space, unlike the smaller 2 and 4-quart models.

The design is attractive, and I would definitely purchase it again. It’s a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I opted for the extended warranty, which I do with most appliances these days. I hope this review is helpful. Happy Holidays!

The Cosori Turbo Blaze 6L is an excellent air fryer. It has a great size, making it perfect for cooking for several people, and the results are impressive: the food comes out crispy and well-cooked with minimal oil. Plus, the design is attractive, and the controls are super easy to use. I had some trouble frying natural potatoes, but that was more about soaking them beforehand rather than the fryer itself. It’s incredibly fast thanks to its air circulation system. The only downside is that the price seems a bit high compared to other brands offering similar products. Nonetheless, I’m happy with my purchase as it delivers on its promises. If you’re okay with spending a little more, it’s definitely a recommended option.

I upgraded to the Cosori Air Fryer from a noisy PowerXL model that drove me nuts with its loud fan and beeping. Using the Cosori is a pleasure; even on high, the fan operates much more quietly than other air fryers. The audible indicators are a nice touch—soft yet noticeable dings and melodies. While it doesn’t have a shake reminder, I found that feature on my old PowerXL more irritating than useful. Instead, I just set my own timer to shake or flip the food as needed. The Cosori feels well-constructed and is easy to clean, with a sturdy tray and silicone bumpers. I appreciate that all the touch buttons light up to display options, and the color screen is a nice feature. Overall, I highly recommend the Cosori Air Fryer.

I’ve owned three air fryers, and this one is by far the best! It looks stunning and has a large basket that ensures even browning and cooks quickly. My go-to test items are wings and potato wedges, and they turn out perfectly every time. Cleaning is a breeze—there’s no grate with holes that traps oil. After cooking wings, I simply hand washed it, and the grease and residue came right off with warm water and soap. I’m excited to experiment with other foods in different modes. I also love how the crisper tray fits snugly into the basket; it feels very secure when pouring out the food.

We’ve been using this product for over six months now, and the first thing that impressed us was how quiet it is. Initially, we were a bit skeptical since it’s so subtle that you can hardly tell it’s on, but after trying it out, we quickly realized it performs much better than our previous XXL Philips model. It comes with numerous presets, the beep is pleasantly soft, and we’re really pleased with it.

I recently upgraded from the 5.5L Cosori air fryer to this version, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s larger, and I really appreciate the removable tray, which wasn’t available on the 5.5L. The basket screws are bigger and feel more secure. It’s also incredibly quiet. The maximum temperature of 230°C significantly improves cooking compared to the 205°C on the 5.5L. The display is large, user-friendly, and has a modern look. I have no complaints at all.

I’ve had two rice cookers before, but this one is my favorite due to its various options. You can select the texture—hard, soft, or regular—which I’ve never had before. While it takes longer to cook the rice, I appreciate knowing exactly how much time I need in advance. This cooker is larger than any I’ve owned, allowing me to prepare up to 10 cups of cooked rice. I really like the extended warming feature after cooking, as it lets me start the rice first while I prepare the other dishes. The style and design are appealing, although it does take up more space than my previous models. The best part is the nonstick bowl, which results in perfectly cooked rice, similar to how better pots and pans enhance cooking. It’s definitely worth the price! I’m impressed with Consori appliances moving forward!

      INTRODUCTION
It’s important to clarify right away that air fryers don’t actually exist; frying requires liquid fat, like oil, not air. These products are essentially compact convection ovens, similar to those already found in our homes. Those who are a bit older might remember the Frittolosa by TermoZeta, which came out in the ’90s. It operated on the same principle (electric heating element + fan) but didn’t gain much popularity at the time. Moreover, as experienced users know, using less oil during cooking doesn’t necessarily mean less oil is absorbed; in fact, paradoxically, more might cling to the food. Despite all this, these compact convection ovens have become indispensable, not out of trend, but because they cook food much faster than larger home ovens, ultimately consuming less energy. I now use my traditional oven only occasionally, having replaced it with this Cosori convection oven, which is, I must say, a masterpiece in every aspect.

      THE COMPANY
Cosori is a company based in Shenzhen (China) owned by the Californian brand Vesync, which also owns Levoit and Etekcity. To be fair, Cosori has faced some issues in the past, having to recall and replace a significant number of products, particularly in the United States. However, the model reviewed here is mature, having been on the market for a few years, resulting from numerous revisions and a winner of important comparative tests in Germany and the United States. It is likely one of the most reliable and safe ovens you can buy.

      THE PRODUCT
This is a 6-liter pull-out convection oven with a single upper fan, extremely compact, aesthetically pleasing, quiet, and built with astonishing precision. It looks great in photos, but even better in person—a true gem. Cosori provides all replacement parts at a reasonable price, something often overlooked during purchasing. If you check reviews of many competing products, you’ll find that replacement parts are often unavailable, leading to the product becoming obsolete at the first issue. The drawer and its easily removable internal grill are made from excellent non-stick material (and I’m not exaggerating). You can feel the quality right away, and the manufacturer even suggests washing both in the dishwasher, which is rare for products with such coatings. However, I don’t trust non-stick treatments, like those on aluminum or copper cookware, and use only stainless steel. Therefore, I purchased a separate AISI 304 steel grill and other similar accessories (like one for skewers).

      COOKING QUALITY
I’ve tried all my friends’ air fryers, both drawer and oven types, and concluded that drawer models are distinctly superior. Initially, I bought an oven type, the Princess Delux 11L, but faced typical issues with those models: more bulk, a more complex cleaning process, and uneven cooking. In oven models, time and temperature settings significantly change based on where the food is placed. Consequently, it becomes difficult to cook multiple items on different racks, leading to only utilizing part of the available space (the center). Therefore, instead of a monolithic 10-12 liter model, a 5-6 liter drawer oven is preferable: it’s smaller, cooks more food (even if that sounds odd), in less time and much more evenly. I don’t miss the rotating basket found in oven models; the results with a simple grill are practically the same, requiring just occasional manual turning, all while providing greater convenience and ease of cleaning.

I won’t list all the cooking functions of this Cosori model; you can easily read them in the specifications, but I’ll highlight a crucial feature that influenced my final assessment: the adjustable-speed fan. There is no direct function to adjust it, but each cooking mode has its preset speed. So, if I want to cook with a medium-speed fan, I use the Bake mode and adjust the temperature and time. For medium-high speed, I select the Reheat mode, and for high, I choose Air Fry. This feature has allowed me to achieve significantly better cooking results than with other brands owned by my friends, like Moulinex, Philips, and even other Cosori models.

      DESIGN ADVANTAGES
Unlike my review of the Princess De Luxe, this one focuses almost entirely on advantages, though I’ll still mention a couple of minor drawbacks. The first advantage is that the system sounds, especially the end-of-cooking alert, are wonderfully soothing—almost therapeutic for my nervous system. They’re unavoidable but not bothersome, allowing me to cook at night without disturbing neighbors. The second advantage is the ability to pause cooking with a simple button press, without having to pull out the drawer or cancel the program. The third advantage is that, unlike some ovens (like the Princess De Luxe), there’s no cooling procedure needed; if you cancel the program, you can immediately open the drawer without burning yourself. The fourth advantage is the cool touch of the exterior during and after use, regardless of the cooking temperature set, keeping both sides and the bottom warm. This means the work surface won’t be damaged over time and will retain its color indefinitely. The fifth advantage is the minimal odor emission during cooking, especially when making fries and similar dishes. I’m referring to particularly odorous dishes, where you’ll hardly notice any smell. The sixth advantage is the nearly horizontal position of the display. It’s slightly tilted, which you might not perceive in photos, but is clear when you have it in hand. I had many reservations about this design choice before purchase, but it proves effective: the oven is easier to read and operate and is fairly visible even from a distance, though less so than if positioned vertically. I love the countdown in seconds when there’s one minute left of cooking—this is the kind of electronics I appreciate! The seventh advantage is the very low noise level, especially at medium speed (Bake), making it the quietest one we have, especially compared to the much noisier oven models. A minor drawback is that the display text is in English, which could be challenging for those unfamiliar with the language. There are only about ten terms, many of which are well-known to cooks, and they can be learned quickly.

      CLEANING
The only parts that get dirty are the inside of the pull-out drawer and its removable grill, both made from non-stick material. A soft sponge and some dish soap are all you need, taking just a couple of minutes. While the drawer can technically go in the dishwasher, I haven’t felt the need to do so yet. I’ve never found the inside of the fryer greasy or dirty, but it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Overall, the difference between this and a conventional oven is staggering: the cleaning surface of the latter is significantly larger and much more irregular, not to mention the door and crumbs that fall into the openings when opened.

      STRANGE ODORS
I’ve dedicated a separate section to this issue, which concerns many users besides myself. A little new smell is normal upon opening the oven; it’s expected. The Princess never gave me any issues, and this one even less so. I washed the drawer and its internal grill with soap and water, dried them with a kitchen cloth, then cut an apple in half and performed two Air Fry sessions (195°C for 10 minutes) with each half (unpeeled). The first session would have been enough to eliminate any odor, but I did the second as well: everything was perfect, odor-free, and doubts resolved.

      ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES
The drawer oven arrives ready to use, as is customary with Cosori, but it’s wise to have a surface to place the hot drawer on once it’s removed at the end of cooking. I bought a 50×40 cm silicone mat to place on top of the dishwasher (search B0CZ72YGMN on Amazon) and a silicone trivet (search B08YNSY1SS on Amazon) to keep the drawer stable while compensating for the raised edge near the handle. Avoid placing the drawer directly on a wooden table or sink to prevent scratches. There are also other useful accessories available; a quick search on Amazon will reveal several, ensuring they are made from AISI 304 stainless steel (which is not the same as 18/10 but is still used in operating rooms) or, if you prefer, with a non-stick coating.

      CONCLUSIONS
If you need a compact convection oven or even just a simple toaster oven, this product is definitely for you. You can cook just about anything that fits, including a medium-sized whole chicken. If you prefer to avoid non-stick coatings, you can still buy it and separately purchase an AISI 304 stainless steel grill—many are available on Amazon at a reasonable price (search B0BZC2G9RJ). However, if you love traditional frying, you might be disappointed; what you achieve with this product is similar to what you’d get in your home convection oven, albeit with significantly less time and energy consumption. Of course, I’m referring to fresh, cut, and oiled potatoes placed in the oven; frozen ones are pre-fried and will turn out well, despite the frying issues you likely wanted to avoid.

      NOTE
I am not a Vine reviewer and paid full price for the Cosori product. I write what I truly think and do not provide reviews for compensation. My goal is for you to read my review to make an informed purchase, perhaps finding the most suitable option for your needs, just as I have likely done by reading one of yours. Feel free to leave or not leave a mark of appreciation: I’ve been among the top 100 reviewers on Amazon and don’t care about returning there.
