I recently acquired this mini PC, and it’s truly a powerhouse. As someone who enjoys experimenting with various operating systems, I’ve tested Batocera, Bazzite, Linux Mint, and even Windows 11 on it, and they all perform seamlessly. Batocera is especially impressive on this machine; it excels at emulation, allowing me to play PS2, Xbox, and GameCube games at 1080p 60fps without any issues. While it may not be suited for demanding AAA Steam games, it handles indie titles exceptionally well and is perfect for retro gaming.
One of the standout features of this PC is its hardware. Mine came equipped with a 512GB Gen 4 NVMe SSD, resulting in incredibly fast boot times, and the Wi-Fi 6 connectivity is a game changer for downloading and streaming. It supports true 4K output on both HDMI displays simultaneously, and it performs flawlessly even when streaming 4K YouTube videos or multitasking with numerous tabs open. Additionally, the abundance of USB 3.0 ports makes connecting peripherals effortless. Whether I’m gaming, working, or browsing, this compact device handles everything like a champ.
Beyond my personal use, I’m excited about the potential this mini PC has for others. I volunteer at my local Boys and Girls Club, where I’ve donated N97 and N95 Intel-based mini PCs for kids to learn basic coding after school. They’ve developed a keen interest in game development, particularly with Roblox and Minecraft. This Ryzen-based mini PC is a significant upgrade for them—it will enable them to test and play their creations and explore more demanding software. Watching them learn and grow with these machines has been inspiring, and I’m confident this one will elevate their skills.
If you’re in search of a versatile and powerful mini PC, this one is an outstanding choice. Whether for personal use or to inspire the next generation of creators like the kids I work with, it has all the right features. Its robust performance and excellent 4K capabilities have surpassed my expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

Like many others, I have nothing but high praise for this impressive little device. It operates quickly and is remarkably easy to set up, with no hidden tricks or surprises. The packaging was a pleasant surprise as well, reminiscent of Apple and other premium European brands. I bought this to replace my 4-5 year old HP mini, which failed to deliver the bandwidth promised by my ISP—something their technician confirmed during a visit. After setting up this new unit, I simply switched the cables, powered it on, and it worked flawlessly. I gradually installed my software, testing its speed with Spectrum along the way. At first, everything appeared perfect, but after several installations, the internet speed halved, mirroring my old HP’s performance.
There was no documentation or Windows 11 installation media, but a quick online search revealed that I could reinstall it directly from the OS. After a few keystrokes, I took a lunch break, and upon returning, I found a fresh install. A speed test showed over 700 Mbps wireless speed, so I continued installing my software, this time keeping track of each step. To my delight, everything remained stable at 700+ Mbps, and I successfully handled my work, which involves significant video downloading, editing, and uploading.
This machine is a true powerhouse, with an excellent CPU. I used it extensively for two days, but halfway through the following day, I connected an SSD via USB to access some files. I had been using this SSD with my previous HP mini without issues. However, shortly after connecting it to the CK10, the screen went black. Rebooting the CK10 led to erratic behavior, with the USB mouse and keyboard intermittently failing to respond. After several reboots, I could not even access the BIOS without disconnecting the power. Removing the SSD did not resolve the issue, and after numerous failed attempts, I decided to return the unit to Amazon. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a replacement due to the purchase being made on Prime Day, and I would have to pay $100 more for a new one. I was quite disappointed.
The device performed exceptionally well for 2-3 days. Given that my SSD was clean and protected by both Avast and McAfee, I suspect there was a hardware failure, possibly triggered by connecting it to the USB port. I plan to reorder something and might explore CK10’s competitors now that I’m paying full price.
To anyone reading this review, I recommend putting the unit to work immediately and testing it during the 30-day return period. I’ll be sure to do that with my next purchase.
EDIT 7-27-2023
After posting a 3-star review, customer service reached out within a day, inquiring how they could make things right. We exchanged several messages, and while the conversation was somewhat confusing, I eventually received an offer for a replacement PC to give it another try. I agreed, and one is on its way. I’m very optimistic this time around. I have to commend customer service for their approach—offering an expensive product to try for 30 days without any strings attached is impressive. They truly live by the motto ‘the customer is always right.’
Update Apr 21/24
I forgot to update after receiving the replacement. It has worked flawlessly, and seven months later, it continues to perform nearly perfectly. I have encountered an issue with Bluetooth headphones; none of my three sets connect as expected. A solution I found suggested removing the included Bluetooth driver via Device Manager and using a USB Bluetooth adapter instead, which has worked every time. Although I rarely turn off my PC, I have to repeat this process when taking it to client sites, and it has been successful every time. Perhaps Kamrui has resolved the issue by now, but I’m content with this workaround. I’m purchasing another one today as a backup.
Update 6/21/2024
I’ve been using this device abroad on 220V since November 2023. It’s been running 24/7 for both business and personal tasks, handling large spreadsheets and videos with the same performance as when I first got it. I check it for overheating frequently, but it remains cool to the touch, with the M.2 drive consistently operating in the mid-40s Celsius. On June 17, the M.2 health dropped 3% due to discovered bad sectors, which automatically reserved 9% of its space to address the issue. Currently, HDSentinel reports the M.2 at 91% health, which is still excellent. I plan to replace it with another 512M.2 when I return.
The Bluetooth issue persists because I didn’t reach out to tech support initially. I bought a Bluetooth adapter that works when I disable the onboard generic Bluetooth service each time. When I get back home, I’ll contact tech support for an update.
I ordered another Kamrui as a backup, and it should be waiting for me when I return. I’ve been carrying this little computer around in my backpack for months, a far cry from when we used to lug mini towers around. It’s definitely a better solution—easier on my back and less likely to be stolen; here, the local thieves don’t recognize it as a computer and often take the monitor instead.
