Hopefully, with time, this will become less frustrating. When I first used the vacuum, the brush roll wouldn’t turn. After checking the instructions, I decided to remove and then reattach the clean brush roll to see if that would help. This required a screwdriver to lift a hard plastic tab, which was quite difficult and made a loud pop that made me think I had broken it. When I reinserted the brush roll, closing the tab also required a lot of force and made a similar loud noise. Thankfully, it seems secure now, and the brush roll is functioning. However, I’m not pleased with the plastic components and will avoid removing the brush roll in the future, as I doubt the plastic tab will withstand repeated use. Another downside is that the on/off button on the upright handle is hard to slide when turning the vacuum on. While I appreciate having a cordless vacuum for quick cleanups, I’m quite disappointed with the overall construction quality.
