A few things to keep in mind:
First, it’s an automatic watch, meaning no batteries are needed, but it does require regular movement to keep running. If you’re not wearing it daily, you’ll either need to wind it each day, reset the time every time you wear it, or invest in a watch winder like I did. I prefer the latter option, as it allows me to display my finest watches while keeping them charged and looking sharp.
The watch face is stunning. The blue numerals are highly polished, reflecting light beautifully, and they seem to “glow” or shift shades depending on the lighting (check out the pictures).
At 44mm, this Bulova is a medium-sized watch, so don’t expect a huge face like an Invicta or a larger Bulova. The case is also slightly on the thinner side, which is worth noting.
I’m particularly fond of the band, which features a continuous design without a traditional bottom clasp. It links together seamlessly underneath (see picture). However, while removing links is straightforward, there’s no micro-adjust feature for a precise fit. You’ll need to settle for the best fit based on the number of links removed.
Overall, for the price, this watch delivers in both appearance and quality, and I’m thrilled to have added a white-faced Bulova to my collection.
