Installation was a breeze—honestly, even a 2-year-old could do it (though they might not have the strength to secure the hoses tightly!). I was so excited to use it that I quickly read the manual, ran a rapid load to clean it out, and then put it to the real test with my fiancé’s work clothes. Yes, the tub is small, which is expected with a mini washer. However, I’ve figured out the best combinations for washing. My fiancé is 6’2″ and works as a sheetrocker, so his clothes tend to get quite dirty. I found that washing his jeans and socks together works best for balance, and Comfee deserves a thumbs up for the washer’s smart design. If the load isn’t balanced or is overloaded, it shuts off and beeps to let you know it needs adjusting. After adjusting, just press start, but keep in mind that if it goes through the rinse cycle again, that can be wasteful, especially living in California.
I’ve successfully washed queen-sized bedding, including a quilt and fitted sheets, without any issues. I recommend letting the water fill a bit before adding a bulky item like a quilt to avoid needing to stabilize it later. While I can’t wash larger, fluffier blankets, it does an excellent job on everything else and operates quietly. Sometimes, I have to check to see if it’s running because it’s that quiet—I can hear my AC unit outside more than the washer. Clothes come out damp but not overly soaked. I hang dry my laundry to preserve the fabrics and save energy—definitely a California thing!
Overall, I love this washer! It’s energy efficient, and I wanted to see a few bills before confirming its impact on my utilities. I consider myself energy-conscious, shaped by my upbringing and California’s emphasis on conservation. I avoid doing laundry during peak hours, especially in summer, and I use cold water while monitoring the weather. Surprisingly, this machine has hardly affected my bills. The washer functions exactly as described and works perfectly. It handles regular loads impressively well for a portable unit, is super easy to assemble, and has ample power. There are no leaks, and its durability seems to be solid so far; I may update this later. However, I do wish there had been more care taken during delivery. While the delivery person was cautious, there was a dent on the front when it arrived. Other than that, I’m very pleased with the machine.
