As an audio engineer, I thought I knew everything. However, I didn’t read the instruction manual. After setting it up and connecting it to my computer via the universal USB port, the board lit up but produced no sound. I finally consulted the manual for guidance…
Tip: Make sure to turn it on! Just because the panel lights up doesn’t mean it’s fully powered. It gets power from both the computer and the included power cord. I felt both relieved and embarrassed, but I moved past it.

It’s incredibly lightweight yet remarkably robust—think of it as a Sherman tank. It comes with a variety of built-in effects (reverb, echo, delay, etc.), and while it has a send and return bus for external effects (after all, you’re a pro now), I haven’t found it necessary.
Best of all, it’s exceptionally quiet. That’s how you distinguish a high-quality board from a subpar one. This is a broadcast-quality studio mixer. The only downside is that it only supports 8 tracks at a time.
