I’ve always feared the day my older model Dyson upright vacuum would give out since they no longer manufacture them (think pre-Dyson ball). I had tried several alternatives in anticipation but ended up returning them all. Why are the heads so small these days? It makes cleaning take so much longer. Anyway, I needed a vacuum that could handle both tile and carpet, and this one fits the bill. It has settings for bare floors and a brush roll for carpets, plus a suction adjustment collar on the handle. Initially, I struggled to push it on carpet due to the strong suction (clearly didn’t read the instructions), but once I consulted the manual and adjusted it, I was thrilled to find I could even use it on my plush high-pile area rug. You can also set it to a low suction for drapes. The value for money is fantastic, especially since I spent $500 on my Dyson a decade ago, and this one was only $150. It feels sturdy and powerful. I would have preferred a longer cord like my Dyson had, but with plenty of outlets around, it’s just a matter of relocating the plug. This might be a drawback for some, but an extension cord can easily solve it. The dust container is awkwardly shaped, making it tricky to empty efficiently. Overall, I would buy it again and definitely recommend it.

Incredibly versatile! The 25 ft cord is fantastic. It features two settings for bare floors and carpets. The suction is powerful on bare floors and effectively removes deep dust from carpets. The side suction is excellent as well. It easily fits between dining room chair legs, so there’s no need to move them. It disassembles for use in high areas and comes with two attachments. The upright design and attachments swivel effortlessly! An outstanding vacuum for the price!

I’m a fan of the Shark brand and chose this model after extensive research for a budget-friendly upright vacuum. I snagged a great deal on Prime Day, which was a nice bonus. While it is a bit heavy, I don’t need to lift it often or use the canister separately. Since I no longer have pets, I can’t comment on its effectiveness for pet hair, but the suction is impressive; it collected a surprising amount of dust from my area rug that had built up over the year! It also works wonderfully on my laminate floors. I adjusted the suction collar for easier movement, though I still find it requires some effort due to my weak shoulders. Unlike some reviewers, I haven’t experienced it tipping over. My main issues are: 1) cleaning the canister is quite time-consuming because it’s challenging to reach all the nooks for dust removal, 2) despite the self-cleaning roller feature, I still have to cut hair from the roller; however, it’s easier than with other vacuums since the roller moves as you cut, and 3) the cord can be a bit cumbersome, but it doesn’t bother me too much. Overall, I’m satisfied with the quality and value of this vacuum.

This vacuum is easy to maneuver when moving furniture, and it has strong suction on both carpets and hard floors. It can be a bit challenging on shag carpets, but overall, it works effectively. The canister has a generous capacity, and the price is reasonable, especially with a five-year warranty included.

I don’t understand why you would send an American Hoover to the UK when it’s not compatible. This has been a waste of time, and now I’m stuck with the return shipping costs. Extremely dissatisfied.

I was in need of a new vacuum since my Bissell 2999 was falling apart – with dust buildup in the motor housing causing a whine, brush roller wear that needed modifications, and a handle that wouldn’t stay locked and later jammed. I decided to go with the Shark NV360, especially since I found it for just $99 compared to the original Bissell 2999 price of around $200. I wanted something known for reliability, and the NV360 comes with a limited 5-year warranty. After researching online, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Shark NV360 exceeded my expectations.
There are a couple of downsides: it has a smaller agitator head and doesn’t include an agitator attachment (you need the Pro version NV356E for that). However, it does come with a smaller crevice tool and a highly effective upholstery tool that works great on stairs. The suction on this vacuum is fantastic, especially compared to my Bissell 2999. I’ve owned Hoover and Bissell vacuums, and while the 2999 was decent, the Shark NV360 outperformed it. The larger hose diameter usually means less suction pressure, but not in this case. Just be cautious with the attachments, as it can easily suck up stray socks!
Emptying the dustbin is a bit more complex than my Bissell and Hoover vacuums, which have a one-button release. With the Shark, you need to undo two latches securing the bin. I initially thought this would be an inconvenience, but it hasn’t been a major issue. In fact, the dual latch offers a better seal, preventing dust from escaping. The foam prefilter may require more frequent cleaning than my Bissell 2999, but I haven’t experienced any allergy issues with the Shark, unlike with the Bissell, which sometimes released dust that aggravated my allergies.
The Shark is also easier to maneuver than the Bissell 2999, partly due to its smaller base. Both are swivel-style vacuums, but the NV360 handles tight turns better. Its smaller head seems to capture more dust. After going over areas I thought were clean with the Bissell, I discovered a significant amount of dirt and dust still embedded in the carpet – even after eight passes with the Bissell. While the Bissell managed to pick up all the dog hair, it left behind dust and dirt that the Shark was able to extract. This prompted me to do a carpet clean with my favorite Bissell carpet cleaner to finish the job.
One lesson I learned is that even with a great vacuum like the Shark or my previous Bissell, you might need to vacuum more frequently than every 3-4 days, as dirt just keeps getting deeper if left alone. Overall, I’m very impressed and highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a better option. It’s especially great for allergy sufferers like me. Best vacuum I’ve used so far. Just a side note: while researching vacuums, I found the Shark Stratos and Rotator models to have better airflow and pressure for larger debris and long hair, but they range between $200 and $300. For me, the NV360 at $99 was the best choice for now.

I had some doubts about which vacuum cleaner to buy since I have a Golden Retriever that sheds a lot of fur, and I wasn’t sure which model would be suitable for daily clean-up. After reading the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try.
I am truly impressed with its effectiveness; it picks up my pet’s loose hair exceptionally well. I use it every day, and it works perfectly for me. The weight is just right—not too heavy at all. The cord length is sufficient to clean the entire downstairs of my home without needing to unplug and move it, and it nearly covers the larger upstairs area as well.
It was easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. I really appreciate that it doesn’t have filters that need replacing; I love that I can wash it and have it ready to use again.
I am genuinely thrilled with this vacuum cleaner, and I can’t wait to see how it performs under these conditions.

I bought the white vacuum and I’m impressed with its remarkable suction power. It maneuvers easily, though it’s a bit heavier than I anticipated. Since we live in a smaller house, storage was a significant consideration for our purchase, and this vacuum is ideal for those with limited space. I appreciate the large dirt canister, which allows me to clean all the floors without needing to stop and empty it frequently. The accessories are also very easy to use and clean. My only disappointment is the lack of a front light. Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum and would definitely buy it again in the future.

I came across a review that mentioned how much dirt and debris the Shark vacuum picked up from a recently cleaned carpet, and I had to see it for myself. After cleaning my entire house, I was stunned by how much dust and debris the Shark still managed to extract from my carpets. My floors feel fantastic underfoot!
As a massage therapist working from home, maintaining a clean environment is crucial for me. I vacuum daily due to the high foot traffic in my place. I still can’t believe the amount of grime the Shark pulled from my carpet! It outperforms some brands that cost thousands of dollars, and finding it at this price point feels like a dream come true!
I’ve shared my excitement about it on all my social media because I am truly impressed with the Shark’s quality and results. I won’t use another brand as long as Shark maintains its standards. I’m still amazed that I discovered this vacuum at such an affordable price on Amazon. It has transformed my tidy home into a truly clean space.
While it is a bit heavier than my previous vacuum, it’s absolutely worth it. Despite the slight weight difference, it maneuvers easily, and I love the longer cord. Knowing that all that dust and dirt isn’t trapped in my carpets anymore is such a relief.
I really dislike carpets because they tend to collect so much dirt, but the Shark has made a significant difference by effectively removing all the dust and debris.
In my child’s room, I thought I had it clean, especially since I take his wellbeing seriously and vacuum regularly to help with his asthma. The amount of junk the Shark pulled out of that carpet was shocking! I’m so glad I purchased this vacuum. I can’t recommend the Shark enough.
Honestly, it works so well that I might find myself vacuuming less often each week, as now when I do, my floors are genuinely clean!
