The Eureka 3670M Canister Cleaner stands out as a versatile and powerful vacuum cleaner designed for a variety of flooring types, from carpets to hard floors. With a host of features tailored to make cleaning effortless, this vacuum is marketed as lightweight and efficient, making it an appealing option for homeowners. In this review, we will explore its design, performance, usability, and overall value, culminating in a detailed rating.
Design and Build Quality
Lightweight and Portable
One of the most striking features of the Eureka 3670M is its lightweight design, weighing in at just 8.6 lbs. This makes it incredibly easy to carry around the house, allowing users to clean multiple rooms without feeling fatigued. The canister design also contributes to its portability, as it can be easily maneuvered around furniture and tight spaces.
Aesthetics
The bright yellow color of the vacuum not only makes it eye-catching but also adds a touch of personality to your cleaning tools. While aesthetics may not be the primary focus for many, it does contribute to the overall appeal of the vacuum.
Performance
Suction Power
Equipped with a powerful 12-amp motor, the Eureka 3670M offers robust suction that effectively tackles dirt, dust, and pet hair. Users have reported impressive results on various surfaces, including carpets, stairs, and upholstery. The vacuum’s ability to lift a midsize area carpet off the floor demonstrates its strong suction capabilities.
Cleaning Versatility
The Eureka 3670M shines in terms of versatility, coming with two extension wands and two specialty attachments. This allows users to clean not just floors but also furniture, high ceilings, and tight spaces that traditional upright vacuums struggle to reach. Some users have even noted its proficiency in cleaning sewing rooms, making it an excellent tool for crafters.
Special Features
A notable feature is the vacuum’s blower function, which can be utilized by attaching the hose at the back. This is particularly handy for blowing out garages or cleaning areas that require a different approach. Additionally, the replaceable dust bag, with a capacity of up to 2.5 liters, makes for a mess-free dust collection process. Users appreciate the ease of changing bags and the reduced dust release compared to bagless models.
Usability
Setup and Maintenance
Setting up the Eureka 3670M is straightforward, and it disassembles easily for storage. Users have highlighted that the vacuum does not come with unnecessary frills, which is a boon for those who prefer simplicity. The lightweight and ergonomic design make it user-friendly, even for those with mobility challenges.
Cord Length and Reach
The vacuum comes with a long power cord, allowing for extended reach without the need to frequently switch outlets. This convenience is appreciated by many users, especially in larger homes.
Dust Collection
While the dust bag capacity is sufficient for regular cleaning tasks, some users have noted that pet hair can sometimes be left behind, leading to a layer of fuzz on carpets. Those with fluffy pets should consider this when deciding if this vacuum meets their needs.
Overall Value
Cost-Effectiveness
At an affordable price point, the Eureka 3670M provides exceptional value for its performance and features. It competes well with higher-end models without the hefty price tag. Users have reported satisfaction with its ability to deliver powerful cleaning performance without breaking the bank.
Customer Feedback
Feedback from users has been largely positive, with many praising its effectiveness and lightweight nature. However, some users have reported issues with parts feeling flimsy or breaking, which raises concerns about long-term durability. The customer service experience has also been mixed, with some users feeling underserved.

Whether you’re a domestic goddess, a quilter, or a seamstress, this vacuum is fantastic! Its suction power is impressive, easily picking up threads in your sewing room and keeping your cutting area tidy. I used it upstairs today to clean the stairs and even reached those tricky spots, including ceiling fans. For the price and performance, it’s truly remarkable. It’s also quieter than most budget vacuums. My favorite feature is the use of bags; I prefer this to bagless models since it’s easier to clean, and there’s no dust scattering when you empty it. Plus, it’s lightweight, making it a breeze to move around.

I bought this vacuum for work. The vacuum itself is decent, and the suction power is pretty good. However, the metal hose broke within the first week, and the clips that hold the attachments are flimsy and easily break. Customer service is lacking as well. I had read positive reviews about this vacuum, but it doesn’t live up to the praise.

Excellent vacuum for daily use. Simple to set up and replace the filter bag, plus it performs well. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. Great value for the price. Very satisfied!

This vacuum is lightweight and easy to handle, which is a plus for my tendinitis. However, it does feel a bit flimsy for an $80 model, so I’ll need to be cautious with it. The suction power is impressive, especially on hard floors, but be sure to pick up loose items like socks and hair ties first, or they might get lost. It’s much better for stairs compared to my previous vacuum. While I can hear it pulling dirt from the carpet, it tends to leave pet hair sitting on top, so if you have fluffy pets, you might want to consider a different option.

I’ve been using this vacuum, and it’s performing well so far. I was eager to try it out as soon as I got home from work. The suction is powerful enough to lift my midsize area rug off the floor. It’s light enough to hold while using the hose to reach for cobwebs. The brush head is also lightweight, but when using it on thicker carpets, it may not feel as thorough as an upright vacuum. The back vent can be converted into a blower by attaching the hose, which is handy for clearing out the garage. The cord length is adequate, and I prefer the disposable bags over bagless models since they are easier to replace and release less dust. It comes with two bags, and knowing this, I ordered a pack of 20 from Amazon because I couldn’t find any bags for the yellow Eureka unit at Walmart.

This vacuum cleaner is fantastic for its price! It’s lightweight, has a long cord, and offers excellent suction. It’s also easy to take apart for cleaning and storage. I prefer my appliances to be simple and effective, without unnecessary features. All I need is a refrigerator that keeps food cold and a vacuum that performs well. This vacuum is incredibly light and well-designed, making it a breeze to use and assemble. Skip the more expensive options that don’t deliver; this is truly the BEST vacuum cleaner for the money!

I live in a house with laminate flooring, various rugs (both wool and synthetic), carpeted stairs, and all upstairs is carpeted. I haven’t cleaned my car with it yet, but I’m confident it will perform well there too.
First off, this vacuum has incredible suction. I’ve had it for a week, and there’s a lever on top that allows you to switch between air flow for back-and-forth vacuuming or straight suction, and it really gets the job done. The suction is so powerful that it even collects fibers and dog hair around it that didn’t make it into the vacuum. There’s no need to go over the same spot twice; the suction is that effective.
It feels quite lightweight, which initially made me question its quality. However, it does everything I need it to do, and the lightweight design is a blessing when vacuuming carpeted stairs and carrying it up and down. This is definitely a big advantage. The vacuum comes with two extension pipes that you can connect for floor cleaning, and I can remove one when vacuuming the stairs for the perfect length.
The vacuum head is wide enough for effective cleaning on my shorter rugs, yet flat enough to slide under low furniture like chairs and couches. When I lower the head, the suction is so strong that it can be tough to pull back, but the flat design lets me easily push it way back under the couches to reach dust that’s hard to get otherwise. That’s a significant plus for me.
The pipes connect by friction, which means you just push them together. Occasionally, they pop off if you pull too hard, but my last vacuum, which cost $450, broke irreparably at the locking mechanism. This vacuum seems less likely to break because the parts will separate under pressure. I hope that proves to be true.
My son assembled the unit, and I jumped right into using it. I forgot to add a bag and was initially frustrated, but then I discovered the bag was already inside! Great job, Eureka!
After multiple uses in the first week, the only downside I’ve noticed is the lack of an automatic cord winding mechanism. However, the cord is longer than my previous vacuum. If I plug it in the middle of the house, it reaches both ends. My old vacuum was a few feet short, so I can clean all the stairs and only have to move the cord once to do the entire house. I’m not a fan of winding cords, so I tend to leave it in a pile when I’m feeling lazy. It’s worth the trade-off to avoid moving that cord!
This vacuum is not self-propelled; you have to push it yourself. There is a brush, but it isn’t motorized. As a reasonably strong woman in my 40s, I’m perfectly fine pushing it. However, if you have medical issues that make pushing difficult, this could be more challenging for you. I consider vacuuming to be a workout, so I’m okay with this, and I think the low cost is justified. I believe the lighter weight is related to the machine’s design.
I hope this review helps others in their decision-making process. I usually don’t buy warranties, but given how lightweight this vacuum is, I might have considered it. I paid $81 after taxes and, as someone who is frugal and cost-conscious, I’m very pleased with my purchase! I don’t often write reviews, but I wanted to share the pros and cons to help other consumers make informed choices.
