The ball is tiny and attached by a flimsy elastic, much like those old wooden paddle balls, making it impossible to control—it just flies everywhere. It desperately needs a sturdier cord to function as advertised. I would have been better off giving a simple paddle ball for Christmas, as that would have actually been used. I returned the item, but be aware that you have to ship it back via USPS, which means a trip to the post office.
