The picture quality of this TV is impressive. I wasn’t sure how the 760 dpi would compare to 1040 dpi, but I’m pleasantly surprised by how great it looks at 760. The sound quality also exceeded my expectations; the speakers deliver solid bass and treble. My only issue is that the TV times out too quickly when paused on streaming apps. If I pause it and step away for a moment, I often return to find the TV turned off, requiring me to reload whatever I was watching. This is frustrating, but I can overlook it because the picture quality is excellent, and I really enjoy the smart TV features. The remote is fairly basic, which doesn’t bother me, but I do find it a bit cumbersome to switch to the cable box, as it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to load the channels. On the plus side, I love being able to access Netflix and Prime Video directly from the remote without having to navigate through the TV menu. The TV is a manageable weight, allowing me to easily set it up by myself, yet it feels stable enough for everyday use. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase, especially considering the quality for the price.

I’m impressed with the fast delivery of this purchase! I ordered it on December 23rd and received it for free in under 24 hours, just in time for Christmas Eve. I set it up right away, and it works perfectly.
The price was great for a brand new, unsealed television/monitor that’s just the right size for my bedroom—not too big or too small for my taste. The remote came with new batteries and functions well. While it isn’t a direct channel remote, I appreciate the direct buttons for certain streaming services, especially for the price and quality.
The picture quality is 720p, which suits the size of the screen nicely. I use my stereo for sound, but I believe the built-in speakers would be adequate as well. There are absolutely no issues with the picture panel, and the box arrived in pristine condition—no scratches or dents.

My previous TV, a flat-screen I received as a gift back in 2011, stopped working last week. Throughout my adult life, I’ve relied on hand-me-down or second-hand TVs and monitors. The old TV was set up in my office, allowing me to watch shows while working on my computer. Since my laptop screen is damaged from an unfortunate spill of ice water, it served perfectly as a feed for the TV via HDMI.
With extensive VOD libraries on both Prime Video and Vudu, access to Vudu was crucial in my search for a new Smart TV. Initially, I hesitated to choose this Amazon Fire TV because my Fire Tablet, which I use for watching shows in bed, does not support Vudu. However, after considering the options, this TV was the right size, had HDMI inputs for my laptop, and was offered at a great sale price.
Upon exploring the apps, I discovered that Vudu was available, along with Peacock, Paramount+, Movies Anywhere, Tubi, Plex, Crackle, MSNBC, The CW, ABC, NBC, CBS, and YouTube. Signing into each app using codes from my computer was seamless, requiring me to input my Wi-Fi password with the remote only once. Everything functions smoothly, and switching to the HDMI input is effortless if I want to watch something on DVD or Blu-ray.
I plan to add Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix once the WGA writer’s strike concludes and I resubscribe.
I can’t recall if my previous TV was HD, but during visits to my parents’ house, I’ve seen HD movies like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, which appeared unappealing. The Battle of Helms Deep looked like a mass of clay blobs, and the Death Star had actors in poor costumes. I’m unsure if that was due to the motion smoothing feature that Tom Cruise criticized, but thankfully, I’ve not experienced any of that unpleasantness with this new TV.
So far, I’ve watched parts of the new Children of the Corn, several episodes of Stargate Atlantis, and bits of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull and Jurassic Park, all of which looked great. While I can spot what seems to be film grain if I look closely, the picture quality is impressive. I even watched a clip from Snoops (1999) on YouTube that appeared to be uploaded from VHS, featuring a scene with Dick Miller. I posted a screenshot on Twitter, but anyone who looked would have to take my word that it was indeed him. However, on this TV, I could even guess the shade of lipstick worn by Teyla Emmagan, if I were familiar with lipstick shades.
This gives you an idea of my perspective and how my level of satisfaction might align with yours.
My only other observation after a few hours of use is that the TV stands are positioned at the outer edges. My old TV had a central stand, allowing me to place it closer to the edge of my desk at an angle. With the new TV’s stands on the sides, I had to move it further back and use sturdy items under the stands for better stability. You’ll need a sufficiently large surface to support the entire TV.
I read a review mentioning missing screws for the stands; mine came with them, neatly packed in a separate bag, just like the remote batteries. Overall, I’m very pleased with the TV so far.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this great deal! While our main TV is in the living room, we love to relax in our bedroom for some privacy. We were struggling with our phones due to the small screen and awkward placement. So, we quickly decided to purchase this TV, and I’m glad we did!
The screen size is not huge, but it’s perfect for a bedroom. The picture quality is outstanding, and navigating the interface is a breeze. The included Alexa remote makes setup super easy. The connectivity is a bit slow, but I think that’s mainly due to the location of our bedroom in the house. The TV runs on an INSIGNIA system with Fire TV, which I had never used before, but it was easy to get the hang of. There’s a QR code for quick email sign-in and connecting via phone or remote.
The only downside I’ve noticed is the sound quality; I would recommend adding external speakers. We’re using Bluetooth speakers, and connecting them was effortless!
Considering the low price and high quality, I confidently give it 5 stars! It makes for an excellent Christmas gift!
