I couldn’t unlock the locked mode despite following the instructions, pressing various buttons, and throwing it over 15 feet. After fully charging it and multiple attempts at longer distances, all I got was a tiny green “on” light with no response. Now, it just sits here as an expensive regular frisbee. It was a gift for my son, and he was quite disappointed.
Additionally, there’s no “off” switch. You can choose a “no light” option, but after it goes into sleep mode, it resets and lights up if jostled. Whoever designed this clearly overlooked a fundamental feature that every electronic device should have—an actual on/off switch.
UPDATE: I reached out to Tosy, and their customer service was excellent. They’re sending me models to test for functionality and provided a full refund. I’m receiving three discs to trial since my experience was so poor, and this will help them in their testing. I’ll update once I receive the discs.
