I’ve been using the Logitech G733 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset for two years, and they are simply outstanding. These headphones have become an essential part of my daily setup, and the quality they offer continues to amaze me.
Sound Quality:
The audio is phenomenal. The PRO-G drivers provide clear, immersive sound with fantastic depth and balance. Whether I’m gaming, watching movies, or listening to music, every detail comes through flawlessly. The directional audio is particularly impressive for gaming, giving me an advantage in detecting footsteps and environmental sounds.
Mic Quality:
The Blue VO!CE mic is top-notch. It picks up my voice clearly without any static or distortion, making it perfect for gaming chats and work calls. I’ve received compliments on how clear my mic sounds during meetings.
Comfort and Design:
The suspension headband design is revolutionary for comfort. It fits perfectly without exerting pressure on my head, allowing me to wear these for hours without discomfort. The RGB lighting is a nice bonus, adding a stylish and customizable flair to my setup.
Battery Life and Charging:
Charging is a breeze, and the battery life is impressive. I only need to charge them every few days, even with daily use. The wireless functionality is seamless and dependable, with no noticeable lag.
Sound Leakage:
The only drawback is that these headphones do leak some sound, so those around you might hear a bit of what you’re listening to. However, since I mainly use them at home on my computer, this isn’t a concern for me. It’s a minor trade-off considering all the benefits these headphones provide.
Final Thoughts:
After two years, the Logitech G733 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset has proven to be durable, reliable, and an exceptional product. If you’re in the market for a high-quality gaming headset with excellent sound, comfort, and mic performance, I highly recommend these.

***Update: I initially rated these 3 stars, but after using them longer, I’m updating my review to 5 stars. The battery life and wireless range are outstanding—much better than my previous Corsair headphones! I used to charge those daily, getting low battery warnings after just 4-5 hours. With these, I rarely need to charge them; their longevity is remarkable. The range is nearly double what I had with the Corsairs, allowing me to move around freely without losing sound. Just remember to adjust the sound settings as I mentioned earlier. I suspect about $15 of the price is just for the brand name, but I’m growing to like these more and more over time!
Initial Review:
I was really conflicted about these headphones. To start, I, along with many others, found the sound quality to be poor right out of the box. Those who say they sound great may not have much experience with higher-end headphones and might be upgrading from cheaper models.
After researching on Reddit and experimenting, I recommend turning off all special sound settings (like DTS and advanced options) and adjusting the bass to +7 and treble to +4. Once I made these changes, the sound quality improved significantly!
I previously had Corsair HS70s and HS80s for two years each, but I despise the iCue software—as it’s a resource hog and often problematic. So in some ways, this is a slight downgrade for me in terms of pricing, as detailed in my pros and cons versus the Corsairs:
Pros: Extremely lightweight and comfortable. The battery lasts an impressively long time (I had to charge my Corsairs daily; the Logitech can last for days!). The sound is decent once you tweak it. The maximum volume might seem low, but as a 45-year-old music enthusiast, I understand it’s for ear protection. The software is lightweight and doesn’t get in the way.
Cons: If you’re primarily listening to music, you might want to spend a bit more on Corsair, Steelseries, or even audiophile options. You may be disappointed with these. While they’re lightweight, they feel slightly flimsy. As I mentioned, the sound is subpar out of the box, in my opinion.
I really struggled with how many stars to give! For the price, if you’re looking for a lightweight pair of headphones with great battery life and minimal hassle, they’re not bad. However, if you’re after superior sound quality, look elsewhere. A little extra money can get you much better sound.
As for Logitech overall, I was tired of juggling multiple programs for my keyboard, mouse, and headphones, so I also bought a Logitech mouse after recalling one I loved in the past. The brand often feels overpriced for the quality they offer, as if they’re exploiting their brand reputation. I’m satisfied with both the headphones and the mouse; they perform adequately, but for just $20-40 more for each, I’d suggest trying newer brands if you haven’t already. Logitech products just feel a bit cheaper than their price suggests, but they do get the job done!
Peace –
I’ve had my fair share of gaming headsets over the last 15-20 years, all wired because I was skeptical about wireless options, especially regarding mic quality and battery life. However, I finally decided to try a wireless headset, and I’m really glad I chose the “Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset.” I considered a few others, like the “Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset (2nd Generation)” and the “HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless,” but ultimately went with this one.
To my surprise, I found it quite impressive. The lightweight design (only 287 grams) makes it feel almost non-existent once you get used to wearing it, and it’s comfortable for glasses wearers too. While the build quality might initially seem flimsy, it’s actually durable and flexible. I play competitive shooters both solo and with friends, and they all noted that my voice came through clearly without any background static. Unless you have exceptionally high standards, the mic quality should meet your needs.
The Logitech G Hub software allows for sound and mic customization, which was easy for me. I simply enabled BlueVoice and selected a Bass Boost preset to get it working to my liking. I recommend exploring the G Hub settings to fine-tune it for the best experience.
Battery life is fantastic, lasting over 25 hours as advertised. I’ve used it for days without checking the charge and often find there’s still 55-60% left. It also charges quickly, which is a bonus.
There are some downsides, though. Wearing glasses, I noticed the front lights can reflect on my monitor, which is annoying. Fortunately, I turned them off in G Hub, and while they sometimes re-enable in gaming modes, it’s easy enough to manage. Just remember to adjust the settings in the “Games and Applications” menu too.
Another issue is that the ear cups are a bit snug, causing my ears to touch the internal plastic. It’s not uncomfortable thanks to the soft band, but it might take a few days to get used to. That said, many might not even notice this detail. For those who want more room, I recommend the “Logitech G332,” which has wider ear cups and great sound quality for a budget-friendly wired option.
One major annoyance is the detachable mic; I have to plug it in and out constantly, which isn’t convenient. A design where the mic could slide up and down would have been better. However, I’ve adapted to this routine.
Overall, the “Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset” is a solid choice for most users. The freedom of wireless connectivity is a game-changer. I can move around my house, listen to podcasts, or cook while enjoying music without worrying about wires.
As for connectivity, I had no issues as long as I stayed within 15-30 feet of my PC. Beyond that distance, I experienced occasional drops. The sound quality isn’t studio-level, but it’s perfectly adequate for casual and competitive use, and you can customize it via G Hub.
UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: I initially rated this headset 5 stars, but I’m downgrading it to 2 or 3 stars because the mic stopped working two weeks ago. I’ve spent a lot of time troubleshooting, and while I bought a replacement mic, it didn’t fix the issue. I found many others with the same problem online, which is frustrating for a headset at this price point.
Despite the mic issue, I still enjoy the headset for other uses. I can walk around the house with it, play single-player games, or listen to music, but I can’t communicate with friends during competitive play. Just be aware that this could happen to you.
UPDATE 6 MONTHS LATER: Surprisingly, the mic started working again on its own! I’m not sure what caused the initial issue, but I’m relieved to have it back. This remains my favorite wireless headset, and I use it daily without problems.
UPDATE Almost a YEAR LATER: The headset and mic are still functioning well. I’ve gotten used to unplugging the mic when not in use, which isn’t a hassle anymore. The battery still lasts over 20 hours, and I typically charge it when it gets down to 60%.
Final thoughts: I’m very happy with this headset and highly recommend it. I believe you’ll love it too!

These headphones are really great! I was initially skeptical about their price and quality because I had read that the microphone wasn’t very good, and that the sound quality was lacking for the price. But it seems like some people just don’t see the potential; they assume that if you spend over $100 on headphones, they have to be top-tier. The quality is solid, they’re very lightweight and comfortable, and they sound quite good. While they’re not premium headphones, the audio performance is impressive. After testing the microphone, I found it to be the best for a headset, considering it’s not a high-end tabletop mic. The connection with G HUB is quick and easy. For $100, these are the best headphones you can buy (I wouldn’t pay more). The ones listed for $180 on logitechg.com are overpriced. For $100, they’re definitely worth it!

Definitely worth it if you can find them on sale. The quality is excellent, they’re lightweight, and they sound great. Aesthetically, they look really nice, but I do think the regular price is a bit high. I got mine for 1800 on sale.

Absolutely fantastic! A perfect score of 10/10.

I previously had the G335, which I had no complaints about; it’s extremely lightweight and comfortable, almost identical to the G733. I only switched because the adapter from P3 to P2 was malfunctioning and I was experiencing issues with the microphone, but the durability is exceptional. As for the G733, the sound quality and comfort are impressive. It’s heavier than my previous headset, but it’s not bothersome. The RGB lighting is nice and doesn’t distract from my view, and the finish is flawless. It’s very comfortable (I wear glasses) and I can wear it for hours without any issues. So far, the battery life is great.

This headset is lightweight, comfortable, and offers great quality for the price. The sound is impressive, and the microphones work well. Overall, it’s a solid choice. My only drawback is that even at maximum volume, it doesn’t get very loud.

I purchased a G733 a few years ago and recently got my wife the white version. This headset has become my favorite due to its lightweight design and excellent sound quality. I can comfortably use it from several feet away from my computer without any issues. The removable microphone is a great feature, as it allows us to use the headset as regular headphones while doing household chores. The adjustable headband fits nicely on our heads, making it extremely comfortable for extended wear. The battery life is impressive, and the wireless range is outstanding. Overall, this headset is definitely worth the price, and I expect we’ll be using it for a long time.
