I had been watching YouTube reviews for various portable compressors and, as a proud owner of several Milwaukee 12 and 18-volt tools, I decided to buy this compressor after hearing overwhelmingly positive feedback. They were right—it’s fantastic! You simply pop in any Milwaukee 18-volt battery and you’re ready to go. It’s surprisingly lightweight, even with the large 12 amp-hour battery. I initially tested it with a 5 amp-hour battery and managed to inflate my completely flat wheelbarrow, the four wheels on my tandem trailer, all four on my car with 20-inch wheels, my boat trailer, and both types of mobility scooters—3-wheeled and 4-wheeled. Just set the desired pressure and press start.
It inflates surprisingly quickly given its size. The compressor stops slightly above the set pressure, allowing for equalization before adding any extra air needed. For the wheelbarrow, it took about three cycles due to trapped air, while others required just one top-up or none at all. Regardless, it does everything effortlessly—just set it and walk away.
All of these tasks took me roughly 20 minutes, with a bit of that time spent dealing with a couple of corroded brass valve caps that disintegrated. I plan to keep this compressor in my car, and since you never know how much you’ll need to inflate, I’ll probably stick with the big 12 amp hour battery. The 5 amp hour battery I used hardly lost a bar, showing it has an impressively low power draw while delivering excellent performance!
I can’t recommend this highly enough, especially for anyone who already owns Milwaukee 18-volt products. If you use other brands, there are plenty of adapters available. I just purchased a non-Makita tool that accepts Makita batteries, so I got an adapter to use my Milwaukee batteries with it. This compressor is incredibly convenient with no cords, not even for a car battery. It’s truly the best investment I’ve made in a long time!

This product performs exceptionally well, comes with fantastic features, and has a sturdy feel. I’m optimistic about its longevity. It’s significantly faster and more convenient than using a bike pump for my wheelbarrow, hand truck, and bike tires. It’s a great enhancement to my toolkit.

The Milwaukee tire pump quickly inflated my GMC Yukon Denali tires from 30 lbs to 44 lbs in just 60 to 90 seconds. It automatically shuts off when the desired pressure is reached, checks again, and restarts if a pound or two more is needed. Once it confirms the exact pressure, it stops.
It’s fast, precise, and robust. I used it with a 6.0Ah Milwaukee battery (not included) to fill all eight tires—my SUV and my wife’s car—in about 10 minutes, and it only consumed one bar of power from the battery. I highly recommend this pump; it has surpassed all my expectations.
The only minor downside is that it can be a bit loud while in use, but that’s a small trade-off for such excellent performance. If you’re considering this pump and have around $400 for the pump and battery, go for it! You won’t regret it.

I appreciate the customizable pressure settings. You can choose your desired pressure and walk away while it does its job without having to monitor it. It automatically shuts off once it reaches the preset pressure. The hose is of good quality and it’s compatible with any battery size.

I have both a Transit and a Mercedes, and I’m constantly needing to inflate tires. I previously purchased a £30 tire inflator from Amazon, and it was worthless. However, the Milwaukee inflator I got now is fantastic—it inflates tires in seconds and provides accurate results. I highly recommend this tool for anyone needing to pump their tires. I can’t praise it enough!

Quick inflation process and I love the memory settings. It’s semi-compact and has an automatic shut-off feature, plus a solid battery life. I purchased an extension hose separately for added convenience. It can be a bit noisy, but the speed makes up for it.

Functions perfectly. Just select the preferred pressure, and it takes care of everything else.

I was using the M12 type, but the M18 compressor offers a much better and stress-free working experience.

Not all tire pressure machines are created equal, and I did my homework before choosing this one. It has everything you need: quick filling, tire pressure readings, a light, easy stem attachment, and its own power source! Being cordless makes it effortless to use wherever you need it. Milwaukee is my go-to brand for household products because they stand behind their quality and reliability. The rechargeable batteries are interchangeable with other Milwaukee tools and hold a long-lasting charge. This tire inflator is user-friendly and easy to read. It’s a fantastic addition to keep in your trunk for emergencies or to use at home for bicycles and lawn equipment.

I own a variety of air pumps and compressors, both large and small, as well as a manual air pump. Until recently, using them was a hassle since most required a power supply, lengthy and often tangled cables, and long air hoses. A few months ago, I discovered a compact, self-contained portable unit with an internal rechargeable battery that made inflating my bike tires much simpler. However, it lacked the power needed for my vehicle tires. I then came across Milwaukee’s portable air solution, which seemed ideal. Instead of buying the complete package with a carrying case, I opted to get just the essential components. I found a great deal on genuine Milwaukee gear that included an 8AH High Output battery and a rapid charger compatible with both M12 and M18 batteries, and then bought the inflator separately. To my delight, everything arrived on the same day. After charging the battery for about an hour and ten minutes, I was able to put the inflator to use. It works flawlessly and is perfect for quickly inflating my truck tires to 70 psi. Plus, now that I have an M18 battery, I’m likely to add a few more outstanding Milwaukee power tools to my collection.

I used to have an old air pump that plugged into the wall, and it took ages to inflate tires by just 5 lbs. I often had to hold it on the valve stem until it was done, which was especially frustrating in cold weather. I decided to get this new pump to avoid using an extension cord to inflate my wife’s tires outside. I tested it on my Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires in the garage at 22°F. Even though I bought an extra push-on nozzle, I used the screw-on connection that came with it to see how it performed, and it was fantastic! It took about 12 to 15 seconds to go from 25 to 35 lbs on all four tires, which I timed with my iPhone. The pump automatically stops to check if it needs to add more air, which it did, before shutting off. Inflating all four tires took far less time than it did to fill one with my old pump, and I was able to keep my hands warm in my pockets while waiting for it to finish. I’ll check my wife’s tires in the morning since she’s at work right now. I can’t recommend this pump highly enough; it works quickly and effectively. The batteries and charger arrived separately a few days before the pump. When I went to charge the batteries, they came 99% filled and only took 5 minutes to fully charge. The carrying case is a great addition too, with pouches on each end for the batteries and plenty of space inside for the pump.

I store this under my truck’s seat and, luckily, I only need it occasionally for reinflating tires after beach trips, which it does effortlessly. However, I use it frequently at home and on the farm, and it’s easily my favorite item in my Milwaukee collection. The digital display is user-friendly and precise. It’s powerful and lasts surprisingly long on a single battery. Definitely get one—you won’t be disappointed!
