   I use this washing machine in my apartment since I don’t have in-unit laundry. The onsite facilities are dirty and too expensive for my taste. I bought an extension cord because the attached one is quite short, and I need to fit the entire machine in my small shower. I leave the drain hose in the tub with a mesh filter, but interestingly, I’ve rarely found any lint in either the hose filter or the built-in filter.

   I fill the washing tub using my showerhead and rinse the clothes briefly after draining. There are gentle and normal settings; the normal setting just agitates clothes a bit more. I haven’t experienced any damage to my clothes.

   This machine holds a lot! I do laundry weekly, washing my clothes, a few towels, bedsheets, and pillowcases. I wash clothing together, then towels and bedding separately due to their weight. The towels need to spin alone, followed by the bedding and then the clothing. Depending on the items, you may need to spin heavy clothing separately, but you can manage a few heavier items together for a quick five-minute spin cycle. Just keep in mind that towels won’t be fluffy if you spin and hang dry them; they’ll absorb well but feel a bit rough.

   After spinning, I hang my items on a rack. Skipping the spin cycle is not an option; otherwise, your clothes will drip everywhere and could develop mildew. Every wash leaves my clothes fresh, and I appreciate the money I’m saving. The wash cycle is similar in noise to a running dishwasher, but the spin cycle can be loud, comparable to a blow dryer, with some vibrations on the floor. Being an upstairs neighbor, I try to do laundry once a week in the early afternoon to be considerate of others.

   The only downsides are the unavoidable noise and that water tends to get trapped in the drain hose. If you need to move the machine like I do, be cautious to keep the drain hose upright; otherwise, you might spill water.

   I rarely write reviews, but I have to say this little washer/spinner is fantastic! It’s compact and perfect for apartments or small spaces. I have a washer-dryer hookup in my apartment, but instead of investing in new units or risking a used one, I decided to give this a try. I connected the hose to my hot water spigot, and it works like a charm. I can easily wash about eight t-shirts at once, although I can only spin four at a time. The spin leaves them just damp, and I hang them on a drying rack with a fan for full drying. I do need to iron a few items, but that’s not a big deal for me. I still take larger items like blankets to the laundromat, but I’ve eliminated my weekly trips there.

   It’s lightweight and easy to move. The drainage works well, but make sure not to let it run too far for too long to avoid damaging the pump. It’s not completely silent, but it’s not overly loud either. I placed mine on a mat to help reduce the noise, and since the wash and spin cycles are quick, the noise is brief.

   The seller is also fantastic and very responsive! I reached out about getting a hose for the cold water spigot since they only provided one intake hose (the machine has two ports). I found out that the intake on the spinner side feeds water into the spinner itself, not the wash side, which seemed odd to me. I also mentioned that I didn’t receive a user manual or instructions. The seller replied within a couple of days, sending me an intake hose, clamps, a belt for the pump, and the instructions!

   If you’re looking to stop going to the laundromat and don’t generate a lot of laundry each week, I highly recommend this product! It’s affordable and very convenient. I am considering getting a small dryer since I noticed that clothes don’t come out as soft and fluffy as they do from a tumble dryer.

   After several weeks of using this machine, here are my thoughts and some tips:

   WASHING:

   • The wash quality is decent, but not flawless. For stubborn stains, use a pre-stain spray before washing.
   • The lint collector is not very effective, but I discovered that placing various cloths inside significantly improves lint collection. I found that cutting a magic eraser and inserting it properly between the areas works best for me. Experiment with different materials to see what works for you.
   • The machine can accommodate a good amount of clothing, sheets, and towels.
   • When washing towels, mine tended to fray a bit, so consider using the gentle cycle to prevent this.
   • I’ve had no issues connecting the machine to my bathroom sink and draining through the shower. Note that the drainage hose can be adjusted to come out from either side of the machine, so you can reposition it if necessary.
   • Make sure to fill the water just above your clothes and avoid tangling them together. If the water is too full, it may overflow slightly during agitation.

   DRYING:

   • The drying performance is good, but don’t expect your clothes to be completely dry. Most of the time, you’ll need a clothesline or drying rack to finish the job. I bought a $15 retractable clothesline that mounts to the wall, which works perfectly for me.
   • Pet hair is a significant issue for pet owners. With three cats, I’ve tried various solutions. It’s essential to put a cloth or sponge in the lint holder and clean it after every wash, but this won’t catch all the pet hair. My current go-to is the “ChomChom” pet hair remover, which is reusable and effective, especially for towels. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s worth the effort if you have the patience.
   • One load in the washer equals about 2-3 loads in the dryer.
   • It takes less than 5 minutes to dry as much as it can.
