Design and Build Quality
Aesthetic Appeal and Ergonomics
The Dell S3222HN boasts a sleek silver finish, making it an attractive addition to any workspace or entertainment setup. Its curved design, coupled with a subtle textured back, not only elevates its aesthetic value but also promotes immersive viewing. The monitor’s dimensions (8.22 x 27.92 x 20.14 inches) allow it to fit comfortably on most desks, while its sturdy build ensures durability.
Adjustability Features
The monitor features tilt adjustability, enabling users to find their optimal viewing angle. While the absence of height adjustment may disappoint some, the overall ergonomic design is commendable, aiding in comfort during long hours of use.
Display Performance
Visual Quality
Equipped with VA panel technology, the Dell S3222HN delivers impressive visuals with a contrast ratio of 3000:1. This feature allows for deep blacks and bright whites, ensuring that users can enjoy intricate details in both dark and bright scenes. The 99% sRGB color coverage further enhances the viewing experience, providing realistic colors that are perfect for photo editing and media consumption.
Refresh Rate and AMD FreeSync
The 75Hz refresh rate combined with AMD FreeSync technology ensures smooth and tear-free gaming experiences. While it may not be the fastest option available, it serves casual gamers well, providing a satisfactory experience during leisure time gaming sessions.
Connectivity Options
Port Variety
One of the standout features of the Dell S3222HN is its connectivity. The monitor comes with dual HDMI ports, allowing for seamless switching between different devices, such as gaming consoles and laptops. Built-in audio that automatically follows the source adds convenience, eliminating the need for additional audio setups in many scenarios.
Additional USB Ports
The inclusion of extra USB ports also enhances the monitor’s functionality, making it a valuable addition to desktop setups, especially for users who frequently connect peripherals.
Eye Comfort and Usability
Eye Care Technology
The TÜV certification for flicker-free technology and ComfortView feature significantly reduce harmful blue light emissions, promoting eye comfort during long work sessions. Users have reported noticeable reductions in eye strain, making this monitor suitable for extended use.
User Feedback
Many users have praised the monitor for its easy setup and clear picture quality, particularly highlighting its effectiveness for office applications and photo editing. However, some have noted that the integrated speakers are subpar, often opting for external audio solutions for better sound quality.

I’ve been using the Dell S2722QC Monitor for a few weeks, and it has surpassed nearly all my expectations. This 27-inch 4K UHD display (3840 x 2160) is absolutely breathtaking. The detail and clarity it provides are perfect for both work and leisure.
One significant improvement I’ve experienced is the reduction in eye strain and fatigue compared to my previous LCD monitor. The display is bright, clear, and enjoyable for long periods of use. I’m so impressed with the quality that I’m planning to buy another one as a secondary monitor.
PROS:
CONS:
In summary, the Dell S2722QC is an excellent monitor with exceptional display quality, but the integrated speakers fall short for audio needs.

As a web, graphic designer, and photographer since 1998, I’ve tested five different monitors last year, each priced $200 more than this one, and all fell short of my expectations, leading to their return. This monitor, however, completely surpassed them. It’s outstanding, especially for the price. I plan to purchase another one soon. Dell has truly excelled with this monitor. I’m usually not easily impressed, but this monitor reignited my excitement! Great job!

I own two Dell 27-inch monitors, and this was my second one. The setup process was straightforward, and the monitor has a solid construction. The connectivity options are excellent, and the extra USB and audio ports make it an ideal addition to my desktop. The colors are true to life, and the picture quality is bright and sharp. I primarily use both Dell monitors on a Mini-PC for photo editing, but the 4K resolution also enables me to work with high-quality video. I have no issues with it and would definitely purchase it again if needed.

This UHD monitor is a solid choice for office applications. If you’re looking for good value, you won’t be let down.
Having spent a lot of time in front of a standard HD monitor, I found it limiting and decided it was time to upgrade to a UHD/4K model. After researching, I chose this monitor based on its favorable ratings for office use from rtings.com, positive reviews, and attractive pricing on Amazon. The inclusion of speakers and a versatile stand were additional bonuses that I appreciated. I’m happy to say it has exceeded my expectations.
The clarity of the display is impressive, and I have excellent control over brightness and contrast. The monitor maintains a 60Hz refresh rate if the connected device supports it. The stand is highly adjustable, though I’ve opted to use a desk-mounted monitor arm, which I also enjoy. Having two input channels has been very useful for switching between different computers. I’ve even used the built-in speakers a couple of times; while they’re not great, I didn’t expect much from them. I also tried using it with a video game console and was pleased with the picture quality, though the audio was again lacking.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this monitor given its value. It’s perfect for office work, and as a general-purpose display, it performs well. However, if you’re looking for a monitor specifically for gaming with high refresh rates or one with exceptional built-in speakers, you might want to consider a TV instead.

For $130, this 32″ monitor is a solid choice. I’m using it for work with engineering applications, and I currently have two of these connected to my laptop alongside an older 27″ monitor (still considering a third). Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1) This is NOT a gaming monitor. With a refresh rate of 75Hz, it’s on the slower side by today’s standards, and the resolution doesn’t quite match the size of the screen.
2) Windows doesn’t downscale the image, which limits my ability to open more windows and utilize the extra screen space effectively.
3) My first monitor had problems right out of the box, experiencing significant flickering and going blank intermittently before showing a solid white screen. I returned it, hoping for better. Fortunately, the two additional monitors I purchased have been working great so far. A big thanks to Amazon for their hassle-free return policy—I simply packed the monitor back up and took it to my local UPS store for the return.

I use this monitor at home with my work-issued laptop, primarily for document tasks—about 98% of the time—so I can’t comment on its performance for gaming. However, for document work, it performs well. Video quality is also impressive. Upgrading from older LCD monitors to this 4K model has noticeably reduced eye strain during long sessions, and the text appears clear and sharp. I chose this 4K monitor due to its reasonable price of around $200 and the reliable reputation of Dell.

I absolutely love this monitor! The height-adjustable feature is fantastic; in my photo, I have it set to the lowest position, which is perfect for my workstation. It works seamlessly with both my MacBook and my Windows work laptop. However, I’ve encountered an issue where my MacBook doesn’t recognize the input via USB-C, so I’ve opted to connect it using HDMI instead. Strangely, my iPhone 15 Pro connects just fine through USB-C, so I’m unsure why the MacBook doesn’t. Fortunately, I had an HDMI cable handy and the necessary dongle for the MacBook. Just a heads up, the monitor doesn’t include an HDMI cable, so keep that in mind if you plan to connect that way. It does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a superspeed USB upstream cable, but no HDMI. The built-in speakers are a letdown, sounding dull and muffled compared to my MacBook Air’s speakers. It’s like having a small Bluetooth speaker buried under pillows. However, you’re likely not buying this monitor for the audio, and it’s nice to have speakers just in case. Overall, this is an excellent monitor that can easily serve as a great alternative if you want to work with two screens but only have space for one.
