This watch is fantastic! It’s stylish and available in a variety of colors, making it ideal for daily wear. It features both date and military time, along with an indigo backlight for low-light situations. The strap is decent and comfortable, fitting my smaller wrists perfectly. So far, it has held up well with no scratches and continues to work flawlessly. The only drawback is the absence of a manual, so I had to search for instructions online. To set the time and date, you simply pull the dial, which has three positions.

I purchased this watch because of its advertised durability and precision, and the price was appealing as well. Unfortunately, it was evident that the watch had been previously used and returned. The band showed signs of wear, and the box was damaged. When I opened it, the watch fell out. I expected a “new” watch for the full price, but this clearly was not the case. Despite this, I’ve decided to keep it since it looks great and will fulfill its intended purpose. Just a heads up to others—be cautious when ordering from this supplier.

The photo made it look a bit larger, but it was still worth it. The build quality is good, and the strap is comfortable.

This watch has a fantastic appearance, capturing the WWII aesthetic that inspires many designs today, from budget-friendly to high-end options. The quality and value provided by modern manufacturing rival that of much pricier watches. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy leather band; it holds up beautifully. The push-button Indiglow feature illuminates the entire watch face, and it boasts a water resistance of up to 50m! As a discerning shopper, I often find myself admiring this watch and thinking, “Wow.” I highly recommend it. Initially, the 40mm case felt a bit large, but I’ve quickly adjusted, and the numbers are easy to read at a glance.

I’m really impressed with this field watch! This is my first Timex, and after having owned several Casios, a Seiko, and an Orient, I decided to give Timex a shot. I’ve had watches that cost over five times the approximately $30 I spent on this, and while it may not compare to a Seiko or Orient, I’m very satisfied with it. I’ve been looking for a casual analog option for a while, and this watch is just what I needed. It’s water-resistant up to 50 meters, comes with a comfortable NATO strap, and features luminous hands along with Timex’s Indiglo backlight, which lights up the entire dial when you press the crown—perfect for checking the time in low light.

The metal case of this Timex Expedition is a big plus; I recommend it over the resin case versions, which are known for their loud ticking. This one is significantly quieter, and the build quality is noticeably superior. I plan to wear this as my daily beater watch at work since it’s stylish, straightforward, and affordable enough that I won’t stress if it gets damaged. Plus, the timekeeping is excellent for a quartz watch.

In summary, if you’re looking for a practical, stylish, and budget-friendly field watch, this is the one for you!

I really like the Indiglo feature.

Beautiful. Simple. At first glance, it looks more expensive. High-quality strap and overall finishes. Not too large. And most importantly: it tells the time.

Although the colors appear more vibrant in the photos, in person it looks good and feels high-quality. It doesn’t make as much noise as some have mentioned.

I’ve found this lightweight watch to be perfect for everyday wear. I own a pricier watch with all the bells and whistles and a metal bracelet, which I do enjoy, but it feels quite heavy. Plus, I realized I rarely use most of its features. So, I set out to find a watch that looked nice and simply told me the time and date—features I actually need. I focused on Timex because of its long-standing reputation and affordable prices. With so many color and band options, I spent hours exploring and learned a lot in the process.

I do have a couple of criticisms. First, the date display is extremely small and difficult to read. I agree that it’s unreasonably tiny. Given the numerous complaints about this issue, I would expect Timex to redesign this feature to match the size of date displays on other brands. However, this wasn’t a deal-breaker for me. Secondly, I’ve seen feedback regarding the acrylic crystal being easily scratched. I discovered that there are two main Timex listings on Amazon: one with mineral crystals—higher quality and less prone to scratches—and another with acrylic (plastic) crystals. It seems like the switch to acrylic was a cost-cutting measure. Come on, Timex, prioritize quality over savings!

I also noticed some complaints about the second hand ticking being loud and distracting. My Expedition watch’s second hand is completely silent, so I suspect those reviewers bought a different Timex model that’s not quartz-based.

The leather band is very comfortable and has multiple notches, accommodating nearly any wrist size. Lastly, I would love to see Timex expand their selection of solar-powered watches. They may cost more, but they eliminate the hassle of battery changes.

Overall, I’m very pleased with my Timex watch. It’s a quality timepiece with essential features, all at an unbeatable price.

This watch is fantastic! I’ve been really impressed with the Timex watches I’ve bought over the last few years. They’re exceptionally well-made, and I’ve had no problems with them so far. I absolutely love this watch’s striking combination of a yellow face and a green NATO strap. I took some photos of it alongside my other Timex watches from previous purchases. I’m confident it will hold up well, but I’ll update if any issues arise. For around thirty bucks, it’s a great deal. Personally, I can’t stand smartwatches; I just need something that tells the time and date clearly, especially at night.

I really love this watch. It’s a reasonable size and not too heavy for a man. The dial is easy to read and has a simple, utilitarian style. I appreciate the lighted dial that can be activated with a push of the stem, making it easy to check the time in dim light without needing to pull out my cell phone. Timex watches have a solid reputation, and this one is no exception. My only complaint is that it’s tough to find a similar watch with a durable hardened glass crystal instead of the hard plastic that tends to scratch over time, especially for someone engaged in heavy work. Watches with that feature often come in diver styles, which are typically large, complex, and expensive. Overall, this watch offers great value, and I’m quite satisfied with it.
