This watch is everything I hoped it would be. First and foremost, it’s a Timex, which I really wanted to add to my collection. In fact, I already own two: this one and a 40mm Weekender. Given my experience with the Weekender, I expected this watch to have a cheap-feeling band, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The leather band is thick—about 3mm—and has a nice stiffness that exudes quality. I also appreciate that it’s stamped with the name of the leather supplier.
I absolutely love the retro American styling. The numerals at 12, 3, and 9 o’clock remind me of vintage speedometer fonts, which I find really cool and unique compared to my other watches.
The watch is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap at all, making it very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend it.
