I want to start by saying that this stationary bike exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, and I absolutely love it. Assembly is relatively straightforward; however, if you struggle with putting together Ikea furniture, you might appreciate some assistance.
I needed a stationary bike to keep up with my daily exercise routine as winter approaches, replacing my usual summer workouts. I don’t aim for intense exercise, and this bike meets my needs perfectly.
That said, it’s important to clarify what you’re purchasing: I misread the title, and when I saw “brake pad/magnetic,” I didn’t realize there are two different resistance types available for this bike. The description for the CLASSIC model (which I bought) still states that it utilizes Magnetic Resistance, but that’s not the case.
The CLASSIC model actually uses a brake pad and lacks a magnetic resistance option. Consequently, while the documentation claims it operates quietly, the CLASSIC model isn’t as quiet as advertised. It’s not loud, but it’s not as silent as I expected.
Considering I paid $199 for it, I believe it’s still a good deal—quite a good price, in fact. However, I recommend double-checking your preferences and comparing this option with other brake-pad bikes if you’re specifically seeking the CLASSIC model.

This bike is exceptionally crafted! It operates silently, and the pedal motion is incredibly smooth. It feels like it could easily be priced three times higher than what it currently costs. Assembling it took just 20 minutes, and then it was ready to ride. While the instrument panel seems basic, it performs excellently. The pulse rate monitors in the handles are accurate and function very well. Overall, everything about this bike deserves an A+.

I was initially reluctant to purchase this bike due to its price and the lesser-known brand. Although the box arrived somewhat damaged, the smart protective packaging ensured everything was intact. Assembly was a breeze, and the bike feels solid. All parts fit well, and the instructions were easy to follow. After nearly a month of use, I absolutely love it. I’ve placed it next to my treadmill to alternate my workouts. The movement is incredibly smooth and virtually silent. I’m truly impressed with the quality given the price.

I was a bit anxious about the sizing due to mixed feedback, but it fits me well, even at the highest settings. Anyone taller than 6’2″ might find it a bit snug. The resistance range is solid; the lowest setting is not super easy but also not overly challenging—my 6-year-old managed to use it without a problem. Assembly was straightforward, though I recommend using your own wrench since the one provided is a bit awkward and weak (not surprising for a disposable tool). I can’t comment on durability since we’ve only had it for a week, but so far, everything has been smooth.

What more could you possibly want? This bike is almost silent and delivers solid performance. Is it flawless? Certainly not, but for under $300, it’s tough to find any significant complaints. However, I know you’re reading this to find out what might be wrong with it.
Here are some drawbacks when compared to a high-end commercial bike (like a $2,000 gym bike):
Fit and Ride:
I’m 6′ tall and weigh 200 lbs. The bike is high enough for me – I’m at 7 out of 8 for seat height and 8 out of 8 for the handlebars (I like a more upright position). While riding, I notice the sound of my shorts swishing more than the magnet drive. The bike feels pretty sturdy, despite the slight flex, which doesn’t bother me.
Assembly:
I’m fairly handy, so I don’t quite understand why others struggle with basic assembly. There are just 8 bolts, making it hard to get wrong. They even provide a video and all necessary tools. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together without instructions. If I had used my own tools, I could have done it in under 10 minutes.
Overall, this bike has impressive build quality and performance. You could spend much more for a superior bike, but to notice a meaningful improvement in performance, you’d have to pay significantly more.
