Since I have “only” 7 dogs, I thought it would work for me, given that I’m dealing with double-coated Japanese Spitz dogs. Today, I found myself recommending this machine to a puppy buyer in Canada and realized I had promised to share my review a while back. Now that I’ve used it extensively, here’s my honest take.
First off, let’s talk about noise. What noise? It’s remarkably quiet, with three settings that make it easy to introduce to puppies. I also own a 6HP blow dryer, and my adult dogs didn’t bat an eye at the sound. While it’s quiet, the suction is more than sufficient, effectively pulling fur and nail filings into the canister.
Now, onto the attachments. My favorite is the brush attachment. After bathing my dogs, I always condition and comb them out before brushing. This makes it easier to manage their fur and helps prolong the life of the slicker brush, which tends to wear out quickly, especially with multiple dogs.
As for the nail file, I noticed many complaints about it in the comments. I bought the machine knowing it might be an issue, and unfortunately, it was. I reached out to the seller on Amazon, who promptly sent me a replacement, but that one stopped working almost immediately too. After contacting them again, they sent me a third one, which also failed to work.

I used the smaller attachment on their paw pads and the larger one on my pregnant dog’s belly for ultrasounds—both worked wonderfully. The metal claw attachment, likely designed for cutting fur like a Furminator, was effective on my cat, making de-shedding easier.
The only downside is the sponge that collects the residue. It comes with a spare, and while I wash it between grooming sessions, I find that part a bit unpleasant.
