(I also want to address the shoulder strap issue mentioned in other reviews.) For my first two babies, I used the Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler rocker, but since they stopped making it, I was thrilled to find this one! It’s quite similar, but this Ingenuity rocking seat also functions as a bouncer! I love the bounce of a traditional wire bouncer, but my babies tend to get heavy and outgrow them quickly. Thankfully, this seat is designed to grow with them. Setting it up was a breeze—my 8-year-old had no trouble assembling it! The bounce is fantastic; it’s incredibly bouncy. Plus, you can easily flip up the bouncy part to rock your baby or convert it into a toddler rocking chair! The conversion process is simple. The top of the seat can recline, allowing them to either sit upright or lay back. I’m very impressed with the sturdiness and overall quality. It’s also lightweight, making it easy to move around the house!
Regarding the straps mentioned in other reviews, I didn’t encounter any problems. When you take it out of the box, the straps aren’t connected, allowing you to slide the fabric over the chair easily. I’m not sure why others had trouble adjusting them; my video shows how simple it is to insert and remove that part. If you were hesitant to buy this because of strap concerns, I assure you it’s not an issue. Just follow the instructions for proper setup. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I have a bigger baby boy, and this product is holding up well for him. At 5 months old, he weighs 25 lbs and is 39 inches long, making standard infant seats unsuitable. I appreciate the higher weight limit, and he finds it super comfy—he even naps in it! Assembly was a breeze, and it feels really high quality. It’s easy to carry around and doesn’t take up much space. However, the toy rack leaves something to be desired; it’s hard to keep toys on with a stronger baby, and not just any toys can be attached, which is frustrating—so I ended up removing it. Additionally, the stabilization bar at the back makes a loud noise when moved, so be cautious if your baby is sleeping! Overall, I believe this will last quite a while, suitable for newborns up to at least 24 months.

This chair is incredibly useful, especially when my baby was less active between 2 to 5 months. I didn’t initially use the safety harness (though I definitely recommend it), as every baby is different. However, once he turned 6 months, he started to giggle and by 8 months, he took a tumble. After a close call when I briefly turned away, I always secure him now, even for a moment! He absolutely loves this chair. While I’m not a fan of the vibration feature, the chair itself is comfortable and well-made. I find the fabric needs to be washed every month, but assembly was a breeze.

My son is built like an NFL linebacker at just 9 months old, weighing in at 26 pounds. No other chair could handle his size (seriously, weight restrictions are a problem!). This chair has been a true blessing. I can confidently place my giant baby down without worry. It’s also easy to switch between rocking and bouncing. The included toy came off within the first 5 minutes, but I’m sure it would last longer with a smaller baby. I’m even keeping the box for the next baby, so you know it’s a great product!

My 4-month-old refuses to sleep flat on any surface, and this product has been a lifesaver. Unlike the boopy pillows, which can be unsafe for sleeping babies, this one is fantastic. It bounces and rocks beautifully, making it versatile enough to cater to my baby’s preferences. However, the toys included are pretty dull and don’t captivate my baby’s attention, so we attach brighter, more engaging items instead. While it’s not the easiest to transport, it’s designed for convenient use wherever you choose to set it up (within reason).

We chose this product because it seemed more comfortable for our newborn. I appreciate the small insert for babies under 12 lbs, and the fact that it can accommodate children up to 40 lbs. It features a vibration option and a foot bouncer, which is a nice touch. Since I work from home, having something smaller than a cosleeper right next to my desk is really convenient. The adjustable angles are fantastic; the 15-degree angle is perfect for his daytime naps, while the 45-degree angle works well when he’s awake. However, I wouldn’t recommend using this as a substitute for a cosleeper!
