I noticed that many reviews mentioned the swatch sheet was inaccurate because it didn’t align with the paints’ arrangement in the palette. In reality, it was just printed upside down! Here’s a simple fix: fold the swatch sheet in half with the folded edge facing up, keeping the color names upside down, then check your palette. Voila! The issue is resolved! This method applies to both the regular colors and the sections with metallic, pearlescent, fluorescent, and macaron shades.
The colors apply smoothly to the paper, are workable, and dry true to color without any chalky finish. Overall, I believe this set offers excellent value for my needs. I find joy in painting, as it brings a sense of calm serenity to my life, which I truly appreciate. I prefer watercolors for their transparency and gradient capabilities. While I also use Brusho and Color Burst in my artwork, the bay horse painting (still unfinished) is solely created with these Grabie watercolors. The painted horse piece is complete.
