I’ve tried countless multi-vitamin chews over the years, only to see them go unused. My senior Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix, Lulu, who is 11 and quite picky, has given this product her stamp of approval. She enjoys it and takes one every day. That’s why I’m giving it 5 stars for now. Since she’s only been eating them for less than 2 weeks, I can’t say yet if they’re beneficial for her health, as I haven’t noticed any changes—good or bad.

We are incredibly grateful for Zesty Paws products because they truly saved our dog! Our Karelian Bear Dog, Mischka, developed a thyroid issue that threw her immune system into chaos. The vet struggled to help her, resorting to lotions for her severe itching and hair loss, but with little success. She had inflamed, scaly patches and was constantly licking herself in an attempt to find relief. Her skin was pink, had a foul odor, and her eyes appeared so dull that we feared she might have cataracts. At one point, we even contemplated putting her down.
Mischka was suffering from a life-threatening case of Candida, which I discovered through my own research. After exhausting various treatments and spending hundreds on vet bills, we decided that if we didn’t see improvement, we would have no choice but to let her go. She had lost so much weight that she was half her normal size, and we couldn’t bear to watch her suffer any longer.
We began administering daily baths with apple cider vinegar, which she wasn’t thrilled about, but we persisted. I purchased a small bag of this brand and product to test it out, and when I went back for more, I noticed something odd. The vitamins in the new bag don’t have that powdery coating on top. I’m not sure what the purpose of that powder is. The vitamins themselves look good, and my dog loves them.
